Laura Fontaine, MS, LIAC, LPC
My name is Laura Fontaine. I am the owner of Vivify Wellness and I look forward to helping you along your journey. I deeply believe in each individual's ability to heal and live the life they desire.

For over 20 years, I have been working with children, teens, adults, and families to help them achieve an improved quality of life and increase their sense of inner strength and well-being. Prior to starting my private practice, I worked with a wide variety of people in a wide variety of settings including residential treatment centers, recovery centers, and outpatient community mental health clinics.

I work with adults and adolescents ages 13 and up. I often find that my clients tend to face challenges such as past abuse/trauma, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, self-harming behaviors, dissociation, and trouble in the relationships they have with loved ones. In therapy we work through the deeper, core issues to help resolve the challenges in their current life. I am LGBTQIA+ allied and it's important to me to maintain an environment of non-judgmental safety. I have a special interest in helping first responders and I am a preferred provider for Fire Strong/Public Safety Crisis Solutions, an organization that pairs firefighters with mental health providers.

I have a Master's degree in Counseling and Human Systems from Florida State University and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from New Mexico State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor. I am an EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist and Approved Consultant and often use this method of treatment to help clients process distressing past events that continue to affect their lives today. I am also trained in Brainspotting and Deep Brain Reorienting and have additional training in trauma-informed care and structural dissociation theory.
